Artist's Comments

I bought some Sandman postcards today and was inspired by the artwork... I remember I used to try and look like Death when I was 15, beacuse people told me that I looked like her. That was the ultimate compliment back then... I don't get that anymore :giggle: but if it wasn't for the light colored bangs, I could still pull it off.
This is me trying again (and to try is to put on black lipstick, enough eyeliner, and draw the swirly under my eye) to look like big sister Death.
And this is the second I think I'll submit to prints... that's why the pretty border and all.

Minimum manip, just increased contrast + border.

The Sandman graphic novel is by Neil Gaiman, so, I'm just ripping the character.
